Mavisystems provided the Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV system for Storm Motor Oy for the start of the motorcycle season

Storm Motor Oy is a motorcycle equipment importer, wholesaler and retailer that employs 60 people. The aim of the project is to support the growth of the company through a faster and more reliable system. Mavisystems was chosen as the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system supplier because a capable local partner was needed.

Storm Motor Oy chose the Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution after seeing how quick and easy it was to use compared to their former Finnish system. The company also wished to invest in a safe solution with a secure base for future product development.

 
Important attributes at the purchasing stage were multi-warehouse management and the in-store cash management functionality, as well as the possibility to integrate the web shop into the system. To manage 65,000 items and to be able to serve customers well requires a completely integrated system.
”The project was begun at the end of January and the system was already in production on March 19. The project was quick and required few resources on our part. The compatibility table drawn up by Mavisystems in two days is a good example of how flexible Microsoft’s system is,” says Mari Alatalo, Information System Manager, Storm Motor Oy.
